The heart of the cottage is a sitting room built around a wood-burning stove. Armchairs, soft lighting, a stack of local maps and a shelf of paperbacks. It's the kind of space that earns its place.

Outside, the garden is entirely yours — private, quiet, and backing directly onto the North Downs Way.

Kitchen

Properly equipped. Properly stocked.

The kitchen has everything you need for a full stay — hob, oven, fridge, the usual kit. We put milk, tea, coffee, granola, sugar, salt and pepper in before you arrive, so the first cup of the morning is taken care of.

The nearest shops are in Cuxton, the well-stocked Co-op will have more than enough for a comfortable stay.

For guests that would rather not cook, we have a great range of take-aways or deliveroo is also available.

    Lots of little tweaks to make it feel like home. Soo peaceful. Perfect night away with me and the dog with the lovely orchard/field walks only the other side of the fence! I will definitely be back soon!

  • Really lovely and elegant little place

    it had everything I needed, super clean, nice and quiet and private, lots of lovely touches and thought put in the whole place to make it very comfy and cosy. Host was very friendly and responsive, and the surroundings are beautiful- every part of my stay was wonderful and I will most definitely stay here again.

  • The location was perfect

    up in the hills away from it all with a short commute to town. The area was great for exploring paths and fields, with a decent wine farm down the road. The accommodation is understated in the listing, it's cute and warm and very cosy. There was nothing else we could have wanted other than warmer weather. Will book again for sure.
